County health department spokesperson Elin Jones said coronavirus data will not be updated on Thanksgiving Day or on Saturday. The state health department will continue to update the COVID-19 data regularly throughout the holiday weekend during the 10 a.m. hour.

Officials are urging Marylanders to avoid nonessential travel for Thanksgiving, and only spend time indoors with members of their own household.

Anne Arundel County created a social media toolkit that includes social media graphics, messaging, and print material to educate and county residents on safe and healthy decisions for Thanksgiving and raise awareness about county assistance programs available.
