There are many popular and classic sneakers available both new and used on eBay.

Earlier this month, eBay announced that it aims to expand its Authenticity Guarantee to cover one of the platform’s most popular items: sneakers.

As of Tuesday, Oct. 27, the online resale giant has begun vetting select Jordans and Yeezys over $200. By early 2021, they plan to begin vetting the authenticity of every sneaker sold in the U.S. for over $100. According to eBay, this means that all collectible sneakers that meet the minimum price requirement will be vetted and verified by an independent team of industry experts.

If you’re shopping for someone who loves fashion (or if you’re building your own wish list), you can now buy many high-end sneakers on eBay with confidence.

The service sells over six million sneakers per year and has more than half a million active sneaker listings at any given time. With so many options available, how do you decide which shoes are right for you or whoever you’re buying for? We’ve compiled a list of some of the best picks available for purchase right now.

How will eBay’s sneaker Authenticity Guarantee work?

eBay says the process will involve sending purchased sneakers that meet the requirements to a third-party authentication facility for a comprehensive multi-point inspection before they’re shipped out to the buyer. The service is meant to authenticate the most popular sneaker styles and brands when it launches, but eBay plans to expand to include all $100+ collectible sneaker sales by early 2021.

When you see a small blue check on a listing, you’ll know it qualifies for eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee. You can find all the sneakers that are currently available under the expanded Authenticity Guarantee here.
