Noise rockers Roomrunner, they of the eardrum-wrecking wall of gnashing guitars and pummeling rhythm section, is calling it a day, according to a Facebook post on the band's page.
The band's last show will be at the Ottobar for U+N Fest 4, running Oct. 2 and 3. There will be a final album released on Accidental Guest Recordings some time in 2016.
Initially a side project of Denny Bowen, with songs written before the dissolution of Double Dagger, Roomrunner eventually grew to be a four-piece—the current lineup includes Bret Lanahan, Jeff Byers, and Dan Frome.
