It was not a certainty after the first Fields, in 2014, that the music and arts scene's festival in the Harford County forest would return again. But after a one-year hiatus organizers Amanda Schmidt and Stewart Mostofsky decided the idea deserved a second round. And they made it bigger and better, bringing in more national acts, pulling in some of Baltimore's biggest headliners, expanding greatly the offerings in other artistic disciplines, and adding more wellness activities. In spite of the larger scope and scale, Fields still felt like a wonderfully weird community get-together in the woods. Bring on round three.
