When it comes to good pizza, they say, it's all in the crust. While bars are unlikely spots to find good pizza, Bartenders has a secret recipe for its crust that places it on par with some of the city's best pizzerias. We've asked, but the staff is not giving up the secret. It's crisp, but not flat like the current trend. Our favorites are the taco pizza, topped with homemade salsa pizza sauce, ground beef, sour cream, cheddar, and lettuce; and the standard margherita. Though heavy on toppings, nothing pools in the middle of the pie creating that soggy mess that turns us off—that's almost as important as a good crust. All the pies are huge and just $10-$16 each.
