Ever since selecting Machado in the first round of the 2010 draft, the Orioles have pinned the future of the franchise to the young third baseman. Machado has shown flashes of brilliance ever since being called up as a 19-year-old in 2012, but this is the year he's put it all together. On top of his usually stellar defense, Machado has become a complete package at the plate, sporting an average around .300 and hitting 24 homers (nearly doubling his career high) and 57 RBIs as of this writing. On top of that, Hakuna Machado's increased his walk and stolen base numbers. While the Orioles have been disappointingly inconsistent this season, Machado's durability has been a bright spot. Luckily for the Orioles, he'll be in Baltimore until at least 2019.
