Fox 45's traffic reporter Jimmy Uhrin regularly broadcasts from places such as Dunkin' Donuts and the car he works from is wrapped in Len Stoler's insignia. So it should be no secret that he's a paid shill, working product placement more or less seamlessly into his folksy morning traffic updates. In March he kicked it up a notch though, getting "caught" in the McDonald's drive-thru when his co-host switched him on live. The segment went viral and landed Jimmy—and Mickey D's—in People magazine, among many other places. Most played the event as a gaffe, even though there was a perfectly framed McD's pillow in the back seat behind Jimmy. Should all the advertisers get co-credit for Jimmy's fine traffic reportage? One suspects he would not mind a bit.
