We happened upon this baseball-themed bar on one hot summer night during one of our bar crawls through Baltimore's formerly steel-making suburb. The burger at Left Field is a quarter pound or half pound of hand-packed meat that isn't squashed during grilling, which keeps in the juices. We opted for the half-pound Heart Attack, a massive burger topped with five pieces of bacon and three cheeses—American, Swiss, and provolone—and came with a side of perfect fries to round out the meal. We managed to finish this monster. Barely.
