The brunch menu at The Food Market is almost overwhelmingly expansive, with each option more appealing than the last. Will you start with the avocado toast, topped with fresh-tasting salmon, light goat cheese, and an impeccably poached egg? Or will you go straight for the smokey bowl, with all the classic heavy breakfast ingredients—bacon, Gouda, potatoes, eggs, hollandaise, and an English muffin—you need to soak up the alcohol in your stomach from the night before? Or how about an omelet, or French toast, or fried chicken and biscuits, or pork belly benedict, or—well, you get the picture. Luckily, there's no wrong choice here: Everything we've had on chef Chad Gauss' brunch menu has cured our hangovers and left us wishing we could order more.
