Iconic Fells Point dive bar Leadbetter's Tavern is set to close

, the iconic Fells Point dive bar, is closing. The space was purchased by Anastasia

Keramidas, daughter of Vasilis Keramidas, who owns several restaurants and pubs in the Thames Street corrider of Fells. Leadbetter's will most likely close up shop in January, according to a source at the bar. Along with other friendly dives such as Dead End Saloon and Bar, Leadbetter's helped shape Fells Point as a place where you could find an old-school pub as well as a club or two. There was no word on what Keramidas plans to do with it.
