The Baltimore Boom Bap Society throws its monthly underground hip-hop party at the Windup Space starting at 9:30 p.m. ($5). Dance to hip-hop and R&B classics at The Point in Fells for Wu-Tang Wednesdays presented by Sounds of Baltimore DJs at 10 p.m. (21+; no cover; two-for-one rail drinks, bombs, fireball shots, and domestic beers).  At Red Maple, DJ JFell's global dance groove party Sutra begins at 9:30 p.m. (no cover).

THURSDAY

Artistland and Glitterthighs (partially organized by CP contributor Michael Farley kick off "QUEER-OLOGY," a new monthly LGBT film and dance-party series at The Crown, with music provided by Mighty Mark, Schwarz, and TT The Artist; a film screening of "Pariah" starts at 7 p.m. and the dance party follows at 9 p.m. (18+; $5 until 10 p.m., $8 after). DJ Matty spins punk music at the Ottobar starting at 9 p.m. (21+). It's hip-hop night at The Hippo with DJ Rosie starting at 10 p.m. ($6 before 11 p.m., $8 after). Viceroy brings his signature summertime disco-house to 9:30 Club with support from Phantoms and Will Eastman at 9 p.m. (18+; $15). FRIDAY

PSYCH'D, an audio/visual experience at The Crown, features club and electronic music from No Sir E, Hi$to, TT The Artist, Dylijens, Aloiecious Elliott, and Destrukshawn kicking off at 9 p.m. ($5 in advance, $8 at doors). Save Your Soul, a night of lost-and-found 45 sounds from Motown hits to heavy soul and R&B, returns to Lithuanian Hall with hosts Robert Macy and King Brian Gilbert and special guest Action Pat starting at 9 p.m. (21+; cash only; $5 for members and guests; $5 for annual membership). Work it out at James Nasty's Physical Education party at the Ottobar starting at 9 p.m. ($5 cover for 18+, 21+ get in free; $2 PBR tall boys 9-11 p.m.). Nick DiNicola hops behind the decks at The Get Down starting at 10 p.m. (21+; half-price drinks until 10:30 p.m.). Enjoy house, down-tempo, and jazz music all night at U Street Music Hall with Mark Farina, Karina, and Benoit Benoit at 10 p.m. (18+; $15).

SATURDAY

The BANANAS party at the Windup Space, kicking off at 10 p.m., features bass music and tropical heat from Jubilee and Lady Prowl + Lara with special guest James Nasty, who celebrates his 'Good Perereca' single release on Enchufada (18+; $5 before 11 p.m.; $10 after). The No Scrubs dance party remembers the '90s at Rams Head Live with Will Eastman and Brian Billion at 9 p.m. (all ages; $15). Joe Kopasek is at Red Maple's Deep Sexy Groove Saturdays starts at 9:30 p.m. (21+). VNMSOL hosts a '90s hip-hop and R&B dance party at Mobtown Ballroom—get there early for a hip-hop dance class taught by Nino Brown at 9 p.m. (18+; $10 from 9-9:45 p.m. includes admittance, drink ticket, and dance lessons; $7 from 10-11 p.m.; $10 after).  Harry Hotter spins party music all night at The Get Down (21+; free before 10 p.m.). Autograf plays at U Street Music Hall with Zimmer and local dance diva Eau Claire for a night of feel-good house, disco, and tropical music starting at 10 p.m. (18+; $10; free before 11 p.m. for 21+).

SUNDAY

Animal Collective takes over U Street Music Hall with DJ sets from Deakin, Geologist, and Avey Tare starting at 10 p.m. (18+; $10). Red Maple hosts its Professional Soul party (free before 9:30 p.m.).

MONDAY

Metal Monday at The Ottobar starts at 9 p.m. (21+; $10 all-you-can-drink rail drinks and beer 9-11 p.m.).

TUESDAY

Two-for-Tuesday night at the Ottobar upstairs and downstairs (after the early show) starts at 9 p.m. (21+, two-for-one-drinks all night) and Salsa Night at Red Maple (no cover; global tapas 5-10 p.m.; salsa lessons at 9 p.m.).
