Though far from a household name in the United States, Mikhail Khodorkovsky was a post-Soviet Russian petro-baron and one of the richest men in the world before his arrest and imprisonment in the wake of his support for political opposition to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Director Cyril Tuschi’s polished documentary explores the Khodorkovsky case and offers an eye-opening glimpse into the economic and political vagaries of contemporary Russia.
