Baltimore Restaurant Week Returns Jan. 21-30, 2011

Mark your calendars: The winter incarnation of Restaurant Week has been scheduled for Jan. 21-30, 2011. Once again, prices correspond with the year, so that lunch at participating restaurants costs $20.11 and a prix fixe dinner menu is $35.11—an especially good deal at venerable Baltimore dining rooms such as Tio Pepe and the Prime Rib. The list includes other local favorites such as the Wine Market, the Helmand Restaurant, Salt Tavern, and the Chameleon CafĆ©; funky newcomers such as Mr. Rain's Fun House and Blue Hill Tavern; and Baltimore's growing cadre of chain steakhouses including several locations of Ruth's Chris Steak House, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, the Capital Grille, and Morton's the Steakhouse. Only a handful of restaurants from the surrounding counties, including Elkridge Furnace Inn Restaurant and the Oregon Grille, are part of this Restaurant Week run. For more information, including a full list of participating restaurants, visit its web site. Bon appĆ©tit!
