deemed Merriweather Post Pavilion, the Frank Gehry-designed outdoor music venue in the woods of Columbia, the
, and that's okay by us. Getting close to the band is great and all, but if you can't work that out, few things are better than plopping down on a blanket on the Merriweather lawn and taking in a show amongst the rustling tress under a starlit sky. In addition to booking everyone from
, the amphitheater is once again set to host the totally free, totally awesome
, which only adds to its radness. And, as

rightly points out, not many venues have a
named after them.
