Obama Didn't Miss His Line, but Roberts Did

We would have expected it from George W. Bush but Barack Obama flubbing the oath of office threw us for a loop. Well, it turns out that it wasn't Obama who messed up: It was Chief Justice John Roberts that couldn't get his lines right.

According to an MSNBC article Roberts, who wasn't using notes, said "I will execute the office of president to the United States faithfully" rather than the prescribed Constitutional line "I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States." Not very impressive seeing as the guy's job is upholding the Constitution.

Between the two of them they never did get the oath quite right, but we're assuming Obama is still the president all the same.
