in Maryland prisons. It went like this:

"Officials in Maryland have shut down a prison gang that was smuggling in champagne, vodka, and cigars. The gang was able to operate because they bribed the prison guards. I don't know what they bribed them with, but I'm guessing champagne, vodka, and cigars. Just a wild guess."

Kind of weak, I know. But some in the crowd laughed—I'm guessing those who Leno bribed with champagne, vodka, and cigars.
