As of last Sunday, Miss Shirley's Inner Harbor location (750 E. Pratt St. [410] 528-5373)is serving its delicious and very decadent breakfast fare on weekends as well as weekdays. And yes, we know they serve lunch too, but who orders a sandwich when crab and fried green tomato eggs benedict or pumpkin cheesecake-stuffed french toast is an option? According to Miss Shirley's blog, it kicked off weekend service with a visit from Jordan's King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.
For us common folks, this expansion not only offers harbor visitors some swell eats but gives us another option when the wait at the Cold Spring Lane location is an hour-plus. Don't get us wrong, Miss Shirley's is worth the wait, but if we could get the food without standing in the packed waiting area for an eternity, then that might just be worth finding parking in the Inner Harbor. And starting May 15, the downtown location will also have outdoor seating.
