This Sunday, May 10, is Mother's Day and e-mails from a number of restaurants having holiday specials have crossed our desk this week. Here are a few, plus a couple of restaurants who regularly serve Sunday brunch. Reservations are strongly encouraged—several restaurants we phoned, including Crush, Gertrude's, and Miss Irene's were either sold out or close to capacity—and as always, feel free add to our list. Abacrombie Fine Food, (58 W. Biddle St,  837-3630), $20, two-course brunch, 12 pm-6 pm.
Alizee (4 W. University Pkwy.,  449-6200) Brunch and breakfast buffets featuring a raw bar, carving station, omelet bar, and more, $44; three course dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m., $55.
Carlyle Club, (500 W. University Pkwy., 243-5454) Indo-American, all you can eat and drink brunch buffet, $29.95, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cinghiale (822 Lancaster St.,  547-8282) Three courses for $25 or full a la carte menu, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Petit Louis (4800 Roland Ave., 366-9393) Brunch, lunch, dinner; $30 for three courses ($46 with wine) or full a la carte menu, 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Rocket to Venus, (3360 Chestnut Ave.,  235-7887). A la carte brunch with unlimited pitchers of sangria, mimosas, or bloody marys with purchase of certain brunch entrees, noon to 7 pm.
