Loyola University annexed Notre Dame of Maryland. Reports The Greyhound: "Speaking to the pride of ethnic Loyolans, Fr. Brinnane called for the reclamation of the university's position as 'a superpower' in the continental liberal arts community." And via Twitter user @azhangaroo: Johns Hopkins University changed the name on its sign (either temporarily or by Photoshop) to show the name most people outside of Baltimore -- and even some who live here -- mistakenly call the university:
