Even before George Zimmerman was found not guilty in the killing of Trayvon Martin last night, local activists were gearing up to protest just such a verdict if it came down. Several groups are planning to participate in protests today, Sunday, at 5 PM at McKeldin Square, and another protest tomorrow, Monday at the same place at 5 PM, is expected to be larger (see details on the
page). Also today, at 7 pm, organizers of last week's 300 Man March (which moved up in our
this week) will hold a planning meeting at the COR Fitness Facility at 904 Washington Blvd. (see flyer).
