Oh, Snyder's, where art thou. Since the closing of Snyder's due to a flood in May, there's been a hole in Baltimore's heart of deep-fried lust for all that is crab and served up large. It's one thing to proclaim your longevity—Snyder's was around since 1937—but it's another to wear it so proudly. Snyder's was unabashedly old-school. From the cheeseball plate to the clientele of true hons, Snyder's was like sitting out on the back porch at your grandma's shore shack. Without Snyder's Baltimore has one less truly home-style restaurant.
