Bartenders is appropriately named. The Boston Street pub was bought by four professional bartenders seven years ago. And they brought with them an impeccable taste in spirits. Specifically, our love for this corner bar comes from the amazing array of bourbons glittering front and center behind the bar. There's 30 to 40 types for sale, including a pretty rare Willet 10 Year, a hard to find Belle Meade, and an organic botanical rye called Pow Wow, which the owner used in an old-fashioned that blew us away. In recent years the city has been in the midst of a "small batch" Renaissance. When it comes to bourbon, Bartenders is a leader, not a follower.
