Tribune Publishing CEO Justin Dearborn has stepped down after nearly three years at the helm of the Chicago-based newspaper company that owns The Baltimore Sun, the company announced Thursday.

Tronc has shed its much-derided corporate moniker and reverted to its legacy name, Tribune Publishing. The name change will take effect after the market closes Tuesday.
