Police find man, 76, who had been missing from Northwest Side

UPDATE: Late this afternoon police said the missing man has been located. No other information was released.

Police are looking for an elderly man who has gone missing before from the Logan Square neighborhood.

David Ray, 76, was last seen Wednesday morning in the 1600 block of North St. Louis Avenue, according to a missing persons alert.

Ray is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, with gray hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. He has a mole over his left eye.

At the beginning of this month, Ray moved from his old residence in the 6100 block of South Woodlawn Avenue to live with his son, the alert said. He went missing but was found at O'Hare International Airport.

It is possible Ray might return to his old residence or to the area near South Western Avenue and West 117th Street where his old dental practice was located.

He may be wearing green corduroy pants and black shoes.
