A 26-year-old man was shot in the thigh in the Princeton Park neighborhood just before midnight Friday, according to police.
He was on the 200 block of West 93rd Place when he "heard shots and felt pain," according to police. Additional information about the circumstances leading up to the shooting weren't immediately available.
The man was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center after he or someone else drove him to Little Company of Mary Hospital, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
He's in critical condition, Greer said, citing preliminary reports.
