How long have you played golf? Eight years.

What do you love most about golf?

The awesome feeling after hitting a great shot or shooting a good round.

What are your goals for the upcoming season? How will you achieve them?

My personal goal is to make it to the state tournament. My team goal is to make it to the sectional if not state. I will achieve this by continuing to practice and work hard.

How do you motivate yourself to train during the summer?

I want to get better and win tournaments.

Who has inspired you most in your athletic endeavors?

My dad. He has taught me a lot about every sport I have played.

If you didn’t play golf, what would you be doing?

Undoubtedly playing baseball.

What’s the best part about summer in Frankfort?

The amount of quality golf courses within a 30-minute drive.

Who is your favorite athlete and why?

Adam Scott [2013 Masters winner]. During a practice round for the 2003 U.S. Open at Olympia Fields he called me under the ropes into the fairway to sign my program as we walked down the hole. He is also a great golfer and I love [his] swing.

How do you beat the heat during workouts?

I drink plenty of Gatorade and water.
