about Del. Herb McMillan advocating for a nondiscrimination law for dogs.
I am so glad my delegate wants equality under the law for dogs but not for gay people. Human moms, dads and their children deserve the same protections under the law, no matter their inherent sexual orientation. Why is equality under the law good enough for McMillan's pit bull but not for McMillan's human constituents?
Civil marriage for same-gender couples is a civil right that needs to be upheld in Maryland.
