Thomas: Knowing God’s holiness motivates us to pursue holiness of our own

The contemporary problem of familiarity and casualness with God is that we don’t understand God’s holiness. And when we don’t grasp His holiness, we lose the sense of who God really is.

Thomas: God turns life’s tragedies, disappointments into something eternally good

God is big. God is love. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and always present. God is eternal. God is spirit. God is everywhere … and the list goes on. And it’s all true! Inevitably, almost every person will get around to saying, “God is good!”
