The combination restaurant and bar, known for its offerings of more than 50 beers on tap and another 500 bottle varieties, will open on the ground floor of a new office retail building on Grand Central Avenue in late fall or early winter, according to development manager David S. Brown Enterprises. The restaurant has locations at McHenry Row in Baltimore and on Joppa Road in Towson.
Other new tenants will include Club Pilates, opening later this month, Metro Wine and Spirits and Hammer & Nails, a men's grooming shop, both of which expect to open in early September.
Other tenants at Metro Centre, a so-called transit-oriented development built around the Owings Mills Metro Station, include restaurants Eggspectation, Times Square Kitchen, U Food Grill, Fractured Prune and Subway.
In addition to its beers, World of Beer offers a lunch and dinner menu with "tavern-style" food offerings such as flatbreads; sandwiches and burgers and dinner entrees.
