JCPenney plans to hire 500 seasonal workers in the Baltimore area for the holiday season, the department store chain said Wednesday.
Employees are needed for customer service and support jobs such as cashier, replenishment specialist, merchandise support specialist and other positions.
Hiring will start in early October and continue throughout the holiday season. Applicants can apply in stores at applicant kiosks or online at jcpcareers.com.
Seasonal workers are given the full associate store discount of up to 25 percent and are offered flexible holiday scheduling.
JCPenney has six Baltimore-area department stores, including at Eastpoint Mall in Dundalk, White Marsh Mall, Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie, The Mall in Columbia, Annapolis Mall and Boulevard at Box Hill in Abingdon.
