Arthur Bell, a Hunt Valley-based accounting and advisory firm, announced Monday that Corey A. McLaughlin has been named the firm's managing member. Arthur F. Bell Jr., the company's namesake, assumed the newly created role of chairman.
Established as a sole proprietorship in 1974, Arthur Bell has grown to employ more than 130 people with offices in New York, the Cayman Islands and Ireland. The firm specializes in the alternative investment industry, entrepreneurs, family offices and high net worth individuals.
McLaughlin, a graduate of Towson University, joined Arthur Bell in 1998. As managing member, he will oversee the firm, while Bell will remain active with key clients and business development.
"I have been privileged to work alongside Corey McLaughlin for the past 18 years," Bell said in a statement. "During that time Corey has shined as a part of our Executive Committee, and he has successfully managed firm-wide decisions and strategy for the past several years. His dedication to our clients, our team, and the industry at large is exceptional, and I am thrilled to be passing the baton to his very capable hands."
