Less than a year after it launched, the daily deals site Citycents.com has closed its doors, reports the Baltimore Business Journal.

Consuming Interests featured Citycents as a Consumer Website of the Week just last month. The site promoted discounts at restaurants and other establishments, but unlike other deals sites all the coupons were free --- you just had to request them.

According to the emails Citycents sent to registered users, businesses will still honor the vouchers, which can still be accessed via a link sent in the message.
