Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has selected a coordinator to oversee plans for development and revitalization of the city's west side.
The Board of Estimates is scheduled Wednesday to consider a request to hire Brian Greenan, an expert in transit-oriented development and neighborhood planning, to serve as "westside coordinator" and staffer for the mayor's Westside Advisory Committee, a group established to guide revitalization efforts.
If the contract is approved, Greenan will begin the $90,000-a-year job on June 1.
