Florida information technology firm Harris Corp. has entered into an agreement with Johns Hopkins Medicine to develop a system to manage the medical system's X-rays, mammograms and other medical imaging.
Details of the deal were not disclosed.
The system — which would involve electronically processing, storing and transporting images — would be developed for Johns Hopkins, but it would later be used at hospitals and by health care providers around the country, the parties said in statement Tuesday.
