Under Armour hires new head of international

Baltimore sports apparel company Under Armour said it has hired a new executive to head up its international business and expanded the role of a second executive who has been with the company since its start.

Mark Dowley will become Under Armour's executive vice president of global brand and president of international effective Feb. 1. He replaces Peter Mahrer, who has left the company, and will oversee business in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Dowley was most recently CEO of William Morris Endeavor Marketing. He has also held the position of CEO at Interpublic Sports and Entertainment Group and Momentum Worldwide.

Also, Kip Fulks has been promoted to executive vice president of product and will oversee all of the company's products. He most recently served as senior vice president of outdoor and innovation and has been with the company since its inception.
