Missouri company buys cmdLabs

The Newberry Group Inc. a Missouri-based information technology firm, said Tuesday it bought cmdLabs LLC, a Baltimore-based company that specializes in digital forensic investigations for government and commercial customers.

CmdLabs and its three partners – Eoghan Casey, Christopher Daywalt and Terrance Maguire -- will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Newberry, which also has offices in Columbia.

Newberry said cmdLabs will be a part of the company's cybersecurity practice, which works with the Department of Defense, the federal intelligence community and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
