Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic is launching a new website covering Baltimore-area sports, promising "extensive coverage" of the Ravens, Orioles and the University of Maryland Terrapins.

The site — CSNbaltimore.com — is scheduled to go live next Tuesday, the company said Thursday. Comcast launched a similar site one year ago for Washington, D.C., CSNwashington.com.

Comcast said the Baltimore site will have breaking news, feature pieces, game coverage and blogs, with stories about high school sports as well as college and professional teams.
