Sparks-based McCormick & Co. expanded its recall of four products Thursday stemming from possible salmonella contamination, part of a nationwide recall of a growing list of processed food products.

The expanded recall includes additional packages of French onion dip mix, vegetable dip, onion gravy and corn bread stuffing that contain hydrolyzed vegetable protein, a flavor enhancer, manufactured after Sept. 17.

The list now includes onion gravy with "best by" dates ranging from Oct. 7, 2011, to Feb. 13, 2012; vegetable dip from June 8, 2011, through July 28, 2011; and French onion dip mix from Oct. 6, 2011, through Jan. 23, 2012.

The corn bread was not stamped with "best by" dates, but the additional recall covers packages with the product code 4520AH.

A food manufacturer testing supplies discovered the contamination and notified the Food and Drug Administration.

No illness has been attributed to the product, made by Basic Food Flavors Inc. of Nevada.

Consumers can call 1-800-632-5847 to replace these products or to get refunds.

As of Thursday, about 150 products from a variety of manufacturers had been recalled due to HVP contamination.
