Unclaimed $1M Mega Millions lottery ticket bought in Maryland expires next week

A Maryland Lottery player who has yet to claim a $1 million winning ticket has less than a week to come forward before it expires.

No one has laid claim to the Mega Millions prize from a June 26 drawing. The ticket expires on Dec. 25, but because the expiration date falls on a holiday, the ticket must be claimed by 4:15 p.m. Dec. 24.

The winning numbers were 17, 25, 29, 39 and 60, and the Mega Ball number was 19.

The Tantallon Exxon at 10815 Indian Head Highway in Fort Washington sold the ticket on the day of the drawing.

The winner should bring the ticket with a photo identification and proof of their Social Security number to the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

It was the third $1 million winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Maryland this year.
