A Port Covington development official says the land parcel now occupied by Nick’s Fish House is for sale. The restaurant business however will remain in place under a long-term lease.
Marc Weller, president of Weller Development, said the “underlying real estate” at the seafood house and marina on Cromwell Street at Insulator Drive at the north end of the Hanover Street Bridge was on the market.
Weller said no price for the parcel has been established. It was to be determined “through the marketing process,” Weller said.
Weller heads the development of the 235-acre Port Covington project, which includes the land and marina at the restaurant.
“The business is thriving and has a lease in place,” Weller said of the Nick’s restaurant.
