The Inner Harbor ice rink is expected to reopen Monday after it briefly closed this weekend, according to the Waterfront Partnership.
The rink at McKeldin Square opened Friday, as part of "It's a Waterfront Life" holiday events downtown that are scheduled to run through Jan. 19. But it had closed Sunday "due to some technical issues and the warmer weather coming, we will need to shut the rink down," the Waterfront Partnership Facebook page said.
Early Monday, the officials said the rink is expected to reopen at noon. "Our dedicated team worked all night to create ice — so head on down to the Waterfront to ice skate in 70 degree weather!!" a post on the organization's Facebook page read.
Public skating hours are noon to 6 p.m. Mondays, noon to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, noon to 10 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.
