US Airways is shifting all operations at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport from Concourse D to Concourse C starting with the first flight on Wednesday morning.

Travelers can check in and get their tickets on the upper level of the terminal near Concourse C, according to a news release from the airport.

The US Airways move is part of the integration of the carrier with American Airlines Group, of which it's a subsidiary. The shift also allows for terminal expansion and improvements, including a new connector between Concourses D and E. That project creates a new security checkpoint for domestic and international travelers.
