Tenable Network Security, the fast-growing Columbia-based cybersecurity company, announced Monday that it has opened a new international headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
Tenable specializes in software that continuously monitors large data networks for vulnerabilities and threats. The company raised raised $250 million in late 2015 to fund its expansion.
With the new international headquarters, Tenable now has offices in 20 countries to serve its customers around the globe. The company counts among its clients such major brands as Adidas, BMW, MasterCard and Microsoft.
"Tenable is a fast-paced, innovative security company, so it's only natural we chose Dublin, a city known around the world for its tech talent, as the home of our first international headquarters," said Amit Yoran, Tenable's chairman and CEO, in a statement.
Tenable expects to hire 100 people in Dublin over the next two years.
