Southwest Airlines, the largest carrier at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, will offer two new daily flights from Baltimore to Minneapolis/St. Paul starting in April.
The nonstop flights will launch April 12, with a fare sale starting at $79 one-way, the airline said Monday. Tickets can be purchased through Nov. 19 for travel from April 12 through May 26 of next year, except for Fridays and Sundays.
The new flights will expand access for passengers flying from Minneapolis/St. Paul into Baltimore and connecting to more than 60 nonstop destinations, such as the Caribbean and Latin America, Southwest said.
Southwest, the nation's largest carrier in the number of domestic passengers boarded, serves 97 destinations in the U.S. and seven other countries.
