RS&F, an Owings Mills accounting and business consulting firm, has expanded its geographic and industry reach by acquiring the assets of a D.C.-area company specializing in print and media businesses.
RS&F said the purchase of Lanham-based Becker & Co., a management consulting and accounting firm, gives it its first Washington-area office. RS&F did not disclose the price for the deal, which it announced this week.
The company said it hired all Becker employees as part of the transaction — approximately 10 — and now employs more than 50 people. It named Becker managing partner Bart Krupnick a partner at RS&F.
"RS&F complements our work with middle-market businesses while providing our clients with services such as audits, forensic accounting, expanded operational consulting and complex tax advisory," Krupnick said in a statement.
