Three new stores are coming to BWI Marshall Airport this year.
White House Black Market, a women’s clothier; Stellar News, a convenience store; and athleisure brand Marika’s first brick-and-mortar store are coming to the airport’s A/B food court area, the airport’s food-and-retail company, Fraport Maryland, announced Tuesday.
“We’re dedicated to bringing the BWI Marshall traveler shopping options that make for a quality experience,” Fraport Maryland Vice President Brett Kelly said in a statement.
Marika, which offers yoga-inspired apparel and accessories for men and women, has opened already in a 1,058-square-food space in the food court.
Stellar News — whose parent company Stellar Partners is opening all three stores — will open a 1,259-square-foot store nearby in March.
White House Black Market will carry “fashions and on-trend pieces for women with a polished sense of style” and a selection of Soma intimate apparel in a 996-square-foot location in the same food court when it opens in April.
In a statement, Stellar President and CEO Padraig Drennan called the new stores at the airport “an exciting milestone for Stellar.” Stellar, based in Tampa, Florida, specializes in operating airport stores.
“This retail offering is designed specifically with the BWI Marshall Airport traveler in mind,” he said.
