Baltimore County and development officials say several retail chains have signed on to open in Mill Station, the redevelopment on the site of the former Owings Mills Mall.

Homesense, Marshalls, Burlington and Five Below will join Lowe’s and Costco, which were announced previously as anchors for the 640,000-square-foot outdoor shopping center being developed by Kimco Realty Corp.

The Costco is under construction and expected to open in August. The Lowe’s is expected to open next January, and the newly announced retailers are slated to open next spring. Already open are several restaurants and an AMC Theatres cineplex.

The mall, which opened in 1986, had suffered store closures for years before shuttering altogether in 2015 and being demolished in 2016. Kimco and a partner no longer affiliated with the property pledged to “de-mall” and redevelop the property.
