Pandora joins top sponsors of new LPGA tournament in Owings Mills

Pandora Jewelry, the Danish charm and bracelet seller with U.S. headquarters in Columbia, has joined Rolex and Hana Financial Group as top-tier sponsors of this July's LPGA International Crown at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, the tournament announced Tuesday.

Similar to the men's Ryder Cup, the International Crown, to be played July 24-27, is a biennial, team match play competition featuring the best female golfers from eight countries, including Australia, Chinese Taipei, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, the United States and Thailand.

Pandora is new to LPGA sponsorship and is partnering with players Brittany Lincicome, Lizette Salas and Gerina Pillar as brand ambassadors this year.

The Ambassador-level sponsorship of this torunament "fits so perfectly with what Pandora has been focused on for more than 30 years — celebrating women," said Nikolette Gayk, Pandora's marketing manager, in a statement.
