An Eldersburg company that offers help desk technology services has been acquired by the IT services division of Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. for an undisclosed amount.
The Konica division, Foster City, Calif.-based All Covered, bought the assets of Eldersburg-based America's Remote Help Desk, which was started in 2000 and offers cloud computing, IT infrastructure management and engineering support.
America's Remote Help Desk's 54 employees will join All Covered's 800-person workforce, according to an announcement from Konica Minolta Business Solutions, based in Ramsey, N.J.
"Welcoming the ARHD clients and team to the Konica Minolta family is a huge gain for us," said Todd Croteau, president of the All Covered IT Services division, in the announcement.
All Covered has offices in more than 25 cities with more than 500 engineers.
