Women’s apparel retailer J.Jill will open this fall at The Shops at Kenilworth, the Towson mall’s owner said Monday.
The new store will open on the mall’s second level between About Faces and Radcliffe Jewelry, mall owner and developer Greenberg Gibbons said.
It was not clear if the J.Jill location at Village of Cross Keys in Baltimore would close. A spokesperson for the national chain could not be reached Monday morning.
The retailer, which describes its style as “easy, relaxed and inspired,” offers apparel, accessories and footwear in misses, petite, women's and tall sizes.
“We’re excited to welcome J.Jill to our great mix of fashion retailers,” said Brian Gibbons, Greenberg Gibbons’ chairman and CEO, in an announcement. “The store will add to the vibrant energy of this revitalized community gem.”
The Owings Mills-based developer bought the mall in 2015 and invested $20 million in a renovation that brought in anchor store Trader Joe’s market and other new tenants.
Women’s clothing boutique Ruth Shaw opened at Kenilworth in September, moving from Cross Keys, which has been left with about a half-dozen retail vacancies as tenants have shut their doors or moved over the past few years.
